August 8 we hosted a group from Starfire U who were great sports on a really hot morning.
We're now deep into our club championships for Men's Singles, Women's Singles and Doubles. Congratulations to the winners of each hard fought match. The competition has been great this year.
CLBC welcomes new members: Ty, Teresa and John who have all been excellent students of the game. Ty was recently seen bowling briefly on a Local12 News video which was discussing the concerns with the proposed Eastern Corridor as it may run through Newtown, businesses, and the Little Miami Golf Center where our green is located.
Congratulations to second year member, Jerry Robinson, employed at the Little Miami Golf Center. Jerry won the 2013 Great Parks Employee Golf Tournament.
